A New Batch of PC3000 Undercarriage Parts Is Ready for Shipment

2025 11/20

Today, Origin Machinery is preparing a new batch of PC3000 undercarriage parts—including track shoes, track rollers, carrier rollers, and idlers—to ship to a mining customer. Each component reflects our strict production process, especially for parts where mining clients often face issues such as cracked track shoes, plate deformation, or surface decarburization.

To avoid these problems, our track shoes are produced using 25MnB and 25CrMnB steels. The process includes material cutting, punching, quenching, and tempering, followed by precise shot blasting. One of the most critical steps is heat-treatment control. We use a fully controlled quenching system where surface hardness stays within 42–49 HRC, and the core hardness remains no lower than 40 HRC. Compared with traditional processes, this unified cooling and temperature-control method significantly reduces deformation and ensures consistent hardness across each plate.

Because our process achieves the required shape and hardness in a single treatment, the track shoes do not need secondary shaping—avoiding internal stress and greatly reducing the risk of cracking during use. Only after the final hardness and deformation checks are completed do the plates move to assembly.

Every batch we ship—large or small—carries the same goal: providing mining operators with stable, durable, and properly treated components that hold up in real working conditions.

Origin Machinery continues to deliver parts that mines can count on, shift after shift.
